Jerry Collins

Jerry began woodturning in 2000 after retiring.

Three years later, he packed up his thousand pound lathe and moved to College Station where he soon discovered the Brazos Valley Turners.

Beginning with solid form bowls, Jerry soon found himself drawn to the challenge and art form of segmented woodturning.  His love of the Native American Culture helped him develop his current style using a variety of both common and exotic woods.
